Mission
Patient Centred Approach
It all begins with you. A goal, a dream, a bothersome ache. You possess a natural ability to effect personal change. Humans do not come equipped with a manual to troubleshoot life’s hiccups, instead we study and learn from ourselves in real time, and make corrections on the fly. Many factors influence this decision making process which habituates our physical and emotional state of being. We may be aware of some, but others occur reflexively under the control of our nervous system. A patient centred approach appreciates that each of us responds uniquely to our environment, and prioritizes this rationale during program development and management. Effective communication is paramount throughout this approach, and influences how the clinician educates and empowers the patient in a shared decision making setting.
